Q: Can you load it with a Visa gift card? Does it count as a cash reload?

A: No one knows yet. Try it when you get a Greenbird and report back.

[asking 1 million times will still result in the same answer]

Maybe it'll work as a dc for spending at Target? MOs?
No Amexs work as debit.

why do that if you can already use the money without that for bill pay
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

If there was 1% back, then MOs would be worth it.

Its a rebate on spending. Why would anyone use a serve for spending is beyond me.
Start with an empty balance, and attach non-Amex issued Amex as backup funding source to double dip on all purchases. Question is how low their tolerance is.

Reloading the green serve card with a Visa Gift Card or Master Card Gift card will be considered a cash reload, and will be subject to the $2,500 per day/$5,000 per month limit? Or will it be considered a debit card reload, subject to the $200 per day/$1,000 per month limit?

The million dollar question. Since everyone will ask it a million times, the answer is no one knows yet, someone will definitely try it when they get their hands on it and hopefully report back

I don't know if this is new, but on the regular serve card site it says now the same exact language as on the greenbird, that you could load at over 27,500 CVS/pharmacy®, Family Dollar®, Walmart®, and participating 7‑ELEVEN® locations  https://www.serve.com/customer/ , so did somebody try on the existing serve card at this locations'     if its not working y should we think that it will work on greenbird  ?

It seems that they took the existing Serve product and split it into two. Used to be that it had a $1 monthly fee, which was waived if you loaded it with $500, and no fee for cash reloads. Now one charges for cash reloads with the $1 waive-able fee, the other has a higher monthly fee that can't be waived, but free reloads. The same way GCs counted as cash reloads on the old one, no reason it shouldn't on the new one(s).
