This isnt an accounting questions. Its an experiential question. You're flying plenty on this trip. Mixing it up a bit never hurt anyone. And you get to see French countryside, Belgium and the Netherlands on the ground all in 4 and a half hours, instead of sterile terminal to sterile terminal blah airports.
Food for thought, thanks.Could also check out a shorter train if we did a day trip to Antwerp. Not sure what there is to do there though.
I hear that Hoffys is a decent restaurant in Antwerp. Its 45 min by train to AMS IIRC.
And Freddie claims the best bakery in the world is there. But that's not enough to have a day trip make sense.
You can always visit the diamond exchange. They are a girls best friend...
Will steer clear of that, thanks.

He's far from being alone on this. I wouldn't waste a day for Antwerp unless you have family/friends there you wanna visit. (Or the rabbi..)
Plus the Chunnel. I'm actually liking this idea.

+1 on Kleinblatt. hoffys is decent but very overpricedThere is a good milchig option don't remember the name.Nothing to do in Antwerp other then bakery and nice shopping area
Bummer. So what's so great about Kleinblatt? Pics?
Hmm... Heard a lot of this Kleinblat before I was there, finally I was in Antwerp ran to check it out, but... I really don't see what's so good about it.
by far overrated IMO!Maybe for out of towners it’s something not to miss, but any local Brooklyn bakery can compete with them......
