If there mission was simply to kill Jews there are unfortunately far easier ways, just look how many homicides happen in the US every day.

no, the nukes are to target the bad guys, quick and easy. they just don't care if the good or neutral guys also get killed/neutralized.

The Japanese cities that were nuked were purely civilians. In a war civilians are also part of it, but they shouldn't be targeted if avoidable.
