For duty purposes.
Who is handling the freight forwarding? What are you importing? How much?

There was a thread started over a year ago with some info regarding this.

I assume your question is:

I have a product in China that needs to be brought to the USA, how do I go about it?

Answer:

I depends on the value, weight size ect.

A 1lb box valued at $100 can be shipped via EMS/DHL for ~$50.

What about a large box or a few boxes values at $1000 and over 65 LB

There are a few options.
1) By air, this would be DHL/FedEx ect. It can cost well over $1000. The benefit of this way is it come directly to your door (customs cleared)
2) Sea. This can cost you much less. Like $600. But then you need to go to the port and pick up your shipment. Alternatively you can hire a customs broker to clear it for you (~$250) and then get a shipping service to bring it to you.

The numbers are not exact.
