Do mistakes happen both ways?

Yesterday Amax charged me 87 Dollars for an annual fee they agreed to waive. Called, complained, and was told “our system didn’t recognize it since you already got a free year, but I’ll be glad to post a credit for that amount.”

Do they ever mistakenly add money in costumer accounts?

Yes they do I had it a couple times when a rental car company adjusted  my bill amex credited back $25 for their premium even though I have the lower level coverage for $20
