Not sure why this thread is out of date. At any rate. I have a group booked on Delta, was told by groups dept that pax will be able to upgrade to comfort plus after ticketing, but system would not allow. Called customer service (not group desk) and was told comfort plus isn't available for groups, I stated what we were told otherwise by group agents and that some have difficulty with knees etc (older group) and on that basis agent was able to override and upgrade the passengers I identified as mecially necessary. After phone call, I realized only one of the 3 pax truly had a medical need, the other 2 don't exactly qualify., they were on the list because they had requested it, intending to pay for it. My question, does Delta verify at the airport that the passengers they changed to comfort plus indeed required that upgrade from a medical standpoint? Should I call back to downgrade those two pax? No intent on making a chillul Hashem.
