Actually the Judge objected a couple times to the testimony on his own. He also on numerous times sustained the defenses objections. The defense failed their client by not objecting more.

When the defense is claiming a sexual encounter never happened then a detailed account of the event is needed. This is in the event the defendant takes the stand and claims it never happened.

They are now trying discredit her, so it was a smart move to lay everything out in detail. The encounter happened. He paid hush money under the sham it was lawyer fees to keep it under wraps.
