From what I heard from someone that's involved in the industry, potf lasts longer than both devash and fresh and tasty

it all depends on the journey from cow to shelf.

No to eggs, yes to ice cream maker.

Once tried homemade with an ice cream maker and was never satisfied. I'm thinking I have to use stabilizers

Not exactly that, either, but I think it may have been cooling down the milk right away before pasteurization.

everyone cools the milk right away. Goes straight from the pumps into a heat exchanger for cooling and then into a silo/storage tank until it's processed further. Either pasteurized, used raw or shipped raw
