HUGE lounge. Entire second floor of the A380 terminal.

Cigar lounge (but cigars, unlike FCT, are not complimentary); showers; restaurant; top shelf-liquor.

You get a 15 min spa treatment. Was good, but nothing compared to TG F, where you get a 60 min treatment.

Of all things to skimp on??

Did you get a haircut/beard trim (i can guess the answer to the beard part)?

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I got a bill :P

I think the first time I was there I got a back massage. The second time I believe I got a foot massage.

Is a 2:45 connection enough to get the full experience?

Johnnie and friends are just fine. Was wondering what my options are though.

I'm planning on growing out my beard just for the free trim.

Probably, but your actual time in the lounge will depend on what terminal you arrive in.

Last time I was there, it took us 45 mins to get from our arrival gate (CX) to the A380 terminal.

And, as long as they're not busy and you're able to schedule a spa appointment, I believe that should be enough, if not a *bit* rushed for my taste.

Frankly, I didn't even check. The odds they had kosher, mevushal wine was nearing zero.

My first world issue is that i am arriving around midnight and flight out is 3:00PM. Do i...

A. Get a hotel
B. Stay in the lounge and rest up there

Will there be issues if i stay and want to leave the airport for touring, or just getting in and out of security/customs.

This is DXB not DFW. I didn't ask for kosher wine nor a KSML; I simply brought a meal mart meal and had them heat it up.  If you feel comfortable bothering them for a KSML, which will likely be terrible anyway, feel free :P

I'd definitely get a room with that schedule. Although they have "quiet rooms" with pillows and blankets, I don't know how well I could sleep on what looks to be worse than an angle flat seat on Air France:




ETA: For those that recall, however, I did spend the night in the EY F lounge. But there a couple big differences: 1) they have a private rooms FCFS, where the lights can be turned off and 2) inside the room there are day beds/couches with pillows and blankets.
