Large Company Insurance Claim Advice
« on: June 14, 2016, 02:28:10 PM »
Found something which I shouldn't have found in packaged food product after I swallowed half of it. Called company consumer relations who said someone from insurance company will reach out to me. They left message for me to call back "to make a statement"
Any advice as to what I should or should not say?
What is the best way to handle this to get the most from this claim?

TIA!

I would venture to guess it depends what you found.
If you're looking to milk them and not lie call an honest lawyer.  If you want to "embellish" call a dishonest lawyer. Or you can always just call up and speak the truth.    I would imagine those are the options. Not sure what more you're looking for.
But again I think the details might matter.

I'm not interested in suing. Any way that insurance company will pay something without suing?

Was there any damage? Did you get hurt? Go to Dr? If no then you won't get anything from their insurance as their is no loss. Perhaps they might give you a coupon for free candy.

How do you swallow or bite through plastic. It's elasticity won't along it to be "chewed" down.
