any harm in cancelling after making that one purchase if you cant get AF waived? i currently have the arrival+ and recently had the M&M, any other good options? i dont fly much so JB isnt so helpful
Most likely not a problem as long as the points have posted but you never know. I also don't recall what barclay's refund policy is for AF. Barclay cards are churnable remember.
in the past when i have tried, i think i recall it getting auto declined bc i just had it. and having to call up and argue why you need a card that you downgraded an hour ago is tough
An hour? Really?
well how long do ppl typically wait? i havent actually done that, but it would mean i cant apply today bc as of this moment, my A+ is active
well how long do ppl typically wait?
If I get a retention offer from Citi (spend 1k get 5k AA miles) then downgrade my card to no AF, will offer still be there?they wouldnt waive my AF
If you downgrade a card and then cancel, do they see the original, or do they only see the canceled one so it's easier to reapply?
Do I get a free bag on AA flights if I pay with a different cc?Thank you
What are the chances of getting the Aviator AF waived? Thanks.
I got 2/2 waived last year; 1/2 this year.
Do the bonus points post only after closing of the first statement?
My FIL has this card, called to get AF waived or close account. They say even if he closes the account they wont refund the AF even though it is still within 30 days from when it billed. He even spoke to a supervisor. Is this normal?! HUCA?
