Frontier MIA-BWI delayed flight by almost 12 hours. (6:17 am pushed to 5 pm)

Filed DOT complaint and VISA infinite claim, should I even bother confronting Frontier?

UA flight from FRA was cancelled yesterday due to mechanical issues. I got an email from “customer appreciation” with a link to receive compensation in which they gave a $100 ETC. I immediately contacted them requesting EU 261 compensation and today got offered 600 EUR, 50K miles, or $1000 ETC.
I think the initial email is intended to be deceiving, so most costumers will just be happy that United proactively offered compensation, not knowing they’re legally entitled to much more.

Yes. If the airline is proactively offering you something, you most likely are entitled to a lot more compensation

Anyone had any luck getting $$ from United for schedule change / cancellation with less than 14 day notification?

Seems like they should have to pay about $1000 per passenger according to Israel Aviation law?

Any law firm that can pursue this for me?
Any recommendations or tips would be great!

The question is, who is in charge of enforcing this this? Who making sure thar the airlines are held accountable?
I have had asituation in the past with AA and they refused conpensation.

Seems like no-one.
Like you need to take them to court (or at least have them think you will take them to court)

The question is if it's worth trying on the chance that they get out by claiming unforeseeable circumstances or whatever

A good first step would be requesting it from United and see what they say

My  prizes from CV :)

Air France return flight CDG to TLV booked w/ Chase UR points portal (as part of roundtrip - no issues on outbound). No checked bags. Online/mobile check-in wasn't possible, wife and I arrived at check-in with 89 mins to scheduled departure time. Check-in closed (90 minutes before scheduled departure) - 2 agents informed us, forced to rebook on another flight at my own expense (luckily ElAl flight 3 hrs later for ~$275 pp). At least 4 other passengers were affected too. For outbound flight we received an email reminder with detailed times to arrive AND were able to check-in online. For return no email and no ability to check-in online. I recognize that we should have been more proactive in researching check-in deadline for Air France depending on the destination (buried in this link - https://wwws.airfrance.co.il/information/aeroport/quand-arriver#fin-enregistrement - but yes Israel is written there with 90 minutes) as well as just generally arriving early enough but regardless we're trying our luck with an email to Air France. Any suggestions? I figured I'd try Chase as well if we're unsuccessful with Air France.
