Does bottled cold brew coffee need a hechsher? ingredients are coffee and water. i was thinking maybe kavush in a treif keili but they only soak the grounds  for about 12 hours.

this is not real cold brew. its pretty much regular brew, concentrated, and then in the canning company they add cold water. the reviews by coffee expects  are according terrible. @ushdadude I would save your kashrus living on the edge for soemthing else.
to answer your question - any canning plant needs hashgocha, probably more because of machinery than ingredients in this case.

Lol thanks. I wouldn't buy anything without a hechsher. this is really more of a didactic discussion

What company are you buying?Are you buying loose leaves? Organic? How are you finding these bugs? under a microscope? In the water? or just from a light box?
I don't have the same results after washing them and under a lightbox.. I have found in the past so I don't think I'm missing them..
