Chase.com > login > go to UR > (pick a card > ) hover on ‘use points’ : transfers to travel partners > choose the partner > fill out the form
If you're trying to transfer to someone not you or your spouse/ domestic partner, IDK.

I just booked a seat on TAM ! JFK - YYZ 4,500 avios
for my son to go back to yeshiva after Pesach.
When I tried booking it on line, it wouldn't complete the transaction. It would error out at the last, making a booking number, page. I tried several times on 2 different browsers.
So I called. Only 5 min of wait time! I thought maybe I hadn't connected to the right airline.

I got her to ask a manger to wave the phone booking fee because it didn't book on line. Done.
But then she charged $9.60 in taxes. She claimed this was the usual amount. I didn't send her back to the supervisor, though I probably should have.
Is there a legitimate reason the charge was $9.60 not $5.60?
If I was charged incorrectly, is there anything I can do now?

I thought it was more $$ to Canada.

It's the wrong amount - should have been $5.60, but recently alot of people (including myself) have been getting charged $9.60 for taxes when booking over the phone. I didn't fight over $4.

Thanks! I was looking for a TAM seat, and I got one. Dan had said they were releasing only 1 award seat per plane, I don't know how many are actually available. Usually it says only 7 (or less) seats available. This seat didn't have any info with it. It was shaded differently, so at first I didn't realize that it was available.
