Very conflicted about X in general. I recently blocked it from my phone, but allowed embedded posts. The reality is that X has the most reliable news (along with the most misinformation), and it has it much quicker than MSM. The world is changing. The question is how to adapt without it becoming all consuming.
Within the week after Oct 7th, I deleted the app and blocked the website on my phone. I could still click on links on a desktop and see embedded tweets on DDF. Then when baseball season started, I unblocked the site, but purged my follows of virtually all political content. Yesterday, I knew Trump was found guilty, but I don't know what the charges are, I have heard close to nothing about the trial, I know very very little about it. And it is sooooo much better. Not so long ago and would have known so much about the story, and how it was being reported and misreported and all the ins and outs - and for what?
Yesterday, I tweeted this:
