Did you have a good experience with them?
The bankers are nice enough and they shouldn't give you a tough time applying for a card. If one gives you a hard time being OOS, I can pretty much guarantee you another nearby branch would gladly help out.
As for underwriting, they're not particularly picky on inquiries and new accounts, but it'll take 2-3 days to hear back on an answer sometimes. They pull Equifax for all credit apps.
There's also a bonus 10-50% on rewards earned and some other perks if you have a Truist One Checking account and a certain balance level, like BoA Preferred Rewards. Again, not geofenced in branch for checking/banking products either.
I have their 3/2/1 rewards card that I mainly use for gas rewards. No AF, and no FTF. Nothing special, nothing amazing, but they hand out decent limits.
