I am sure this is stupid and obvious - but just an FYI. There is a new version of the Simply Cash Biz card that has expanded 3x cashback options - like airfare, car rentals and more. It also had a bonus that was high, but useless to me, unless I forced my SO to get the card - which she did not want.
When I called they said, I could close my card but would not be eligible for the new bonus (my SC card is more than 5 years old) unless I cancel and wait 12 months. So, that was not interesting. I called back and asked them to "upgrade" my old SC card to the new SC with the expanded 3x categories and they agreed and that was done, no pulls, no mess no fuss. I still can cancel the card and wait 12 months and try again - or leave it as is.
Either way - just an FYI for you all. Yes, cash is worth less than the PRG or BRG 3x MR points - but it is what I have now and I am holding out on those for a better bonus deal.
