Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

How do I book a star-alliance flight(United) with Krisflyer points, can it be done online or only on the phone?

they have a partner award chart for miles needed. As far as Taxes and fuel surcharge, You can look up the flight on ITA and it will give you the fare breakdown which should let you know what they will be

Where can I read about using a car rental to save miles from the past?
In order to do that, can I go through southwest.com to book the rental or it will not work then to revive old points?

great, thanks, so it seems from the first post, that you have to not credit any airline those miles in the beginning, so, can I go through Costco,- get the discount, and then credit the miles up to 1 year to an airline?

amex rep is telling me that if i downgrade card to no AF, the AF that i paid is prorated for the refund, and only if i cancel the card do i get a full refund
is that true?
