I believe it has a lot to do with society and the desire to get something for nothing. Everyone believes nowadays they can get rich quick without doing any work for it. It permeates more than we realize
This philosophy is an integral part of DDF.
This whole thread has gone wildly OT IMHO. The main concern always was the legal risk that the CC farms pose, and the impeding chillul hashem.
The major difference between what the farmers do and what the average ddf'r does, is all about the scale. This scaling of the 'game' is indeed a great concern.
But everything else about 'opening businesses', Sweet talking reps and even RT should stay in the ETHICS thread where they belong.
The people who sign up with the farms are stupid but not "that" stupid. They have to know that its not all 100%...
