Trouble transferring Qantas points

Has anyone else had this? I am trying to transfer points from my account to my husbands but after filling out the form the site looks to "verify" my identity and just hangs. I've tried from a few different computers. Frustrating. I see a flight that I am ready to book but need to consolidate the points!

Maybe try transferring to a Qantas account that matches the name on the credit card account and making the award reservation from that Qantas account?

Not sure that I get what you mean.  No credit card involved.  I am transferring points from my Qantas mileage account to m husbands

 i think you need to verify with text to cell to be able to transfer. you probably dont have cell registered. you need to call frequent flyer service center [call regular number after 7am australian time and ask to be transferred, and add you cell number]
