Topic Wiki

Thread summary:

Trump walks in a room.

1. Moshe123 shoots at him because he is pure evil, 2. ilherman+hachover jump in front of the bullets because Trump is our savior. 3. aygart tackles Moshe123 because Trump is better than HRC, 4. but Baruch can't stand Trump so he tells aygart he's crazy and Trump is a madman. 5. ExGingi would like to point out that who cares what he is, all that matters is the supreme court nominations. 6. Dan and others aren't really sure how this makes them feel plus they don't really want to drink poison. 7. Spoiler alert: Moshe123's gun was empty, it was just a blank.

And Freddie is in the back of the room just cooking his cholent. Until he announces that there are TWO menu choices, Pareve Cholent or Vegetable Lasagna. While etech0 figured out that they are both poisoned.

Repeat x100.

And then Hilary walks into the room with the most confidence a candidate has had in recent history. She is so confident that she eats both the Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone is the room is aghast, they don't know how this happened, could it be Comey is behind this poisoning or was it that her Obamacare premiums were to high to get her the help she needed.

Everyone stared as she choked and was cast into oblivion on November, 8, 2016 the last day she was heard from in the public eye.

Moshe123, ilherman, hachover, Baruch, ExGingi, Dan, Freddie, etech0, and the rest of America are in total shock and hope that so long as Trump doesn't eat any Pareve Cholent and Vegetable Lasagna and stays true to his supreme court nominees this may be the greatest thing to happen since the CSR and GC's.

But remember this may be the beginning of the end...

P.S. Thanks to cognitive dissonance aygart, Michael Moore, and Scott Adams knew the whole time that Trump could win, unfortunately for JTZ he may be off DDF for the next 4 years due to his mandatory 3 times daily consumption of CROW!

As things turns out, the most prescient view on this election was that of Michael Moore! Though Scott Adams is also claiming a high view level of prescience.

Debate is gonna be nasty. Trump isn't even trying to look presidential at this point. He just wants to go on the attack.
He tried to look "presidential" during the first debate. It was horrible. Can't put a square peg... He is simply not presidential.
I agree, he most definitely will call her crooked Hillary on stage etc.

As bad as hillary  is, she's still somewhat of a normal person. Sure she puts her own interests  before anything else, a liar and the whole laundry list of issues but she is more likely  to run a government  in the framework it should be than trump. He is too impulsive  and reckless to be president . You can't alienate your allies. There's a concept  of diplomacy  that as much as it's  fake you can't ignore the way the world works. It's a game that needs to be played. You can't be so easily  manipulated . Hillary  threw him off his game right away in the first  debate be saying he's not a self made billionaire  and that pushed the right buttons  of his ego to make him lose  focus. Frankly he lacks the self control it takes to be president and is just too immature.

Here's an article  from politico on how easily  played he was by Howard Stern. If you get played by Howard  Stern  you need some help. (Disclaimer: it's about trump on the Howard Stern show. You can imagine some stuff it contains There's  your basket of deplorables.)
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/10/howard-stern-donald-trump-2016-214322

That's besides the fact  he ran on the premise of being a successful  business man who never loses which clearly not true and you see has a really warped mind after reading some of his disgusting  comments on ivanka. Even if it's just extreme TaiVos nashim the extent of it shows a corrupt mind that should not be allowed to carry the responsibility  the comes along with being POTUS.

And rememberwhen people had issues with Obama not carrying on bush's custom of always wearing  a jacket in the Oval office because  that was inappropriate?

You have a point in that at a quick glance, she has the "look" of a president more than he does (although he disputes that - naturally). When you look a little deeper though, with ALL of his flaws, and that's quite much, she's just so much more corrupt and rotten to the core. Sure she's been in politics her whole life, so was always politically correct and didn't talk the way Trump or any random business people talk, who never think it will come back to bite them.

The difference  is she (tries) to do these things covertly. He does things overtly  and as much as I hate PC it's a necessary  tool of the trade and it provides an element of checks and balances.

What most people who vote for Trump are hoping is that, being a political freshman, he will surround himself with smart people to work out the practicals. One thing he did pretty well so far was his VP pick, who went from a nobody to a star in that debate.

I keep hearing this argument of Trump "surrounding himself" with good advisers.

Pardon my French, but this is pure bull$&it.

Has he been listening until now? Are his "advisers" telling him to post childish, sick things on Twitter? Did they not advise him to practice for the debate, which he flat out refused to do?

Pence is on a completely different wavelength. He wants a shot at being president someday, so he took the offer. Watch the VP debate, you wouldn't even know that he's running with Trump!

Trump will absolutely NOT take advice. He's a narcissist that believes himself to be the smartest person on planet earth. He will say and do things AGAINST their advice.

In order to get elected, it's dependent a lot more on your performance as a speaker, debater, etc in which we clearly see he is failing miserably. Once elected, it's dependent a lot more on policy, which isn't something that's a spur of the moment decision.

As I've said from day 1, we're going to see a landslide for H not seen since 1984.

And the craziest part about that is that literally any other of the R candidates could have won this election.

Lots of crude language (though we're all desensitized towards that this election cycle), but SNL nailed it last night:

At the outset I had written that trump was probably the only one who could possibly lose to Hillary. I've since modified that to include Kasich and Bush because then she would be running unopposed.

CNN now reporting they plan on asking the first question at the debate about the video. Trump better be well prepared. If he gives the right answer he will be a winner.

That I can assure you that unlike the last debate, Bill will not be in the room...

I'd rather a competent president with a personal life that I find morally questionable (within the law, of course) than a president with marital views that align with mine but is woefully incapable accomplishing anything positive in his capacity as president. Bill Clinton's personal affairs didn't seem to interfere with his presidential duties too severely.

Well said

You were trolled. Don't feel bad though, he got me again as well.

What has Trump done in his life that makes you assume he would be a competent president?

#ImWithMickey

Why in the world would you think I assume Trump would be a competent president? I think he's the among most inappropriate choices to be within such striking distance of the presidency in US history.

His campaign released an apology, which they made him read word for word off a teleprompter. Look how glazed his eyes are in his statement.

He must still think he has a shot of winning otherwise why not step down on your own terms instead of losing by a landslide.
