;D

@davidd75 for an alternate view, you can contact Rabbi Weiner at ZNT kosher (just google it) or have s/o ask Rabbi Kuber. (no need for me to relitigate it all here :D)

I have read both sides but what I am getting at is that even those that question Rabanut hecher in general  what are the real concerns when it comes to breakfasts(milchig)?

Does it boil down to standards of checking vegetable and standards of trumos/masros?

you mean not even adhering to the Rama of just lighting the fire? If so is the general consensus that Jerusalem rabbanut is more negligent than OU in this respect?

if not then how is this a factor

Also have problems of challa as well as some questionable dairy products being used that would be chalav stam at best

It matters not what their policy on paper is. It matters if they responsibly supervise. In general they do not. So just throwing in a potential mishap.
I don’t know the specifics if there happens to be a certain mashgiach on scene who people trust.

I was there and the fire went out and the worker called the masgiach to turn it on. The mashgiach told me they ae scared to get caught not listneing to his rules.

Go on...
You want to know what products they are using ask them and and tell them to be specific and just bc they say everything is mehadrin isn't an answer .
The milk company Tara used to be agudas yisroel which is a very low tier hechsher here  they are now aida charadis so not an issue but when they were aguda rabbi kubar and other rabbanim checked it out and they came out saying it's chalav akum at best and you should avoid using those products
The hotel uses chasam sofer peach tikva which no reputable person in kashrus would call mehadrin.
The mashgiach I think is one of those that believes rabbanut from Gaza is better than say star k in America therefore for him to tell an American everything is mehadrin isn't lying bc he believes that it is more mehadrin than what people would be eating in chutz laaretz.
If you do call him out on anything his go to response is either see how many people are eating here who trust me or if you don't like eat go to the plaza
Many American rabbanim in Israel (including rabbi Weiner and kuber) have requested to meet with him and see the operation and he always refuses.....

Mashgiach says this is not true. Do you have proof of this allegation?

Yes he has told me that many times the cheeses are petach tikva unless it changed in past month.
Again it may have changed since I last asked in March but dig deeper and ask the questions that need to be asked and you will get the if you don't like it eat somewhere else answer

Seems Strange why he he won't allow any rabbanim in Israel to take a look at storage room or see what's going on......
The citadel mamilla and others have allowed American rabbanim in Israel to work with the mashgiach who is transparent and answers what they ask , it's only the Waldorf that's dodgy
