My Flight is leaving LGA at 6:30 scheduled to arrive 7:41, i checked the stats on this flight - normal delay on is 1/2 hour (without any winter condition - i'm flying Jan. 29) that means without any problems i will get to PHL around 8:10 - now i have to switch terminals - wait for the bus etc..... not certain that i will miss the flight but chances that i miss the connection are at around 50%. so my question to you is - what happens if i do miss the connecting flight ? (i have a weeding in Israel the end of march and i really want them to switch my tickets....) do they give me a refund - send me on the next flight (its Wednesday night so next flight is not an option besides i dont want to be in philly for a day).. how do these thing work?
I was booked on the same flight, when I got through security at LGA, I saw that there were 2 flights to PHL before mine and asked if I can get on one of them. They said no problem and actually told me that my original flight was delayed so it's a good idea. They pulled my luggage and it was easy.
When we landed in PHL, we did not have to switch terminals, I thought we did, but it was a really long walk, at least 15 minutes, maybe 20.
I think I read somewhere on this forum that people who missed the TLV flight were sent to Newark and sent on United or another airline.
