Maximum amount of hard pulls?

Is there a maximum amount of hard pulls after which your credit score is no longer affected? I have 6 hard pulls currently and am wondering if there is nothing to lose by applying for a new card?

It doesn’t work that way. How many of your 6 hard pulls are from this past year?
