Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Does this card give you 5% off online and free shipping on Target.com? I know it works in store but it seems to not be working online for me.

Redbird will always give you the 5% off during shopping at a Target store, but some people have reported it not taking the 5% automatically online at Target.com and having to call cust service. Not sure if this has been fixed now, but if you buy online keep an eye on it to make sure it discounted it.

My wife bought me this for our anniversary. It says Redcard on the back of his shirt.

The question is: Does it bark MS when you swipe your RC near it?

He seems to be saying Serve so that explains it.

Ok, there are pending points, however a) why didn't they post with the rest of the points? and b) I didn't get for last cycle.

It can take a while till points become available, It can take about 2 billing cycles.

Do amex points post a few days after the statement closes, or does it post after the next statement? i.e. the statement after you pay.

ETA: It says I have 6000 pending, but with the 50% bonus - which I earned this month- it should be 9k.

I'm new to amex - maybe I just didn't get used to their system? Chase and Barclays are very different, and more orderly it seems...

Regular points (not bonus points) usually post next statement, after you pay.
