I got my visa within 5 minutes in the airport. (curiously they charged me 30USD while the visa sticker says 15USD)
This has probably been mentioned but Israelis do not need a visa.

I ended up spending a very leisurely day out and about in Istanbul, We saw a few Mosques, the shuk (wow! even larger than Marrakesh) the Palace, the garden etc. (we did not make it to the Jewish quarter unfortunately) For the record, I saw a Jewish couple walking around with a kippa.

Forget cabs, Metro is quick and effective. The Tram is nice too.

Lol, Where ever your heart desires.

There is a lot to see, depends what kind of thing you are into. I would suggest Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and the mosques...

well I ran around the airport & asked them but no was helping me what to do, good help from the turkish peeps

European citizens, don't know about others, apply online for their visa.
A bit like the USA esta.

Can you pay to get in to this lounge? I read that you can't but maybe things changed? Any other ways to get in? I have Star Alliance Silver
