costco has a pretty good code with budget BCD  W852873 you have to be 25. Costco also has a pretty good search engine for their corporate codes, check it out on costco.com then click on the travel link

Does anyone know I BMG corperate posted in Wiki requires ID when picking up the car? Do you get free 2nd driver? On my reservation for pickup in Anchorage it says free 1000 miles. After that $.25/mile. I spoke to a rep in Anchorage but different location. She said both location are privately owned and are always unlimited. Any experience?

I made reservation with one of codes.
I got to rental car place in Peterson Park.
the agent took 45 minutes to get me out.
He said my bcd code didn't match with the rate.
I got a reservation online, but the system didnt agree wit the rate.
Agent gave me $20 off.

I was disapointed that i got a confirmation, but the system didn't agree with the rate.

Rented a car in Israel for August.  Went very smoothly and was all and good.  While I was there I got a parking ticket by the Kotel and didn't pay it as I was leaving the next day and wasn't sure how to.  I've gotten a 2 $15 fees from budget since then.  The first one was apparantly a "handling fee".  Has anyone had a similar experience?

What happens when one disputes a charge on the CSP.

Ideas?

Anyone know the answer to this one or point me to the correct place. I rented from Budget in Florida a couple of weeks ago. I went to a restaurant and somehow the way I went put me through a toll booth. Now I get a bill for $18 for tolls. I called them up and they said it's a $3.95 per day convenience fee for the transponder! For the future, is there any way to get away with it? I also said no one told me. They said they don't usually but it's in the rental agreement.

So I was messing with name your own price trying to pull off a full size SUV for around $20 a day. When that didn't work I figured I would try tomorrow but instead I bid on a convertible. I won a 16 day rental out of FLL over Shavuos at $18 a day for a convertible. They gave me Budget for a total of $480 after taxes and fees.
It then dawns on me that I have a car seat and I hope to G-D it fits. I have never rented a convertible and I think my wife will love it. Maybe ill keep it a surprise.

Rented twice with budget, two terrible experiences.

1. Arrived at 2.30 am as per RSVP and no car available, even though prepaid. Refused initially to give us any other car besides our RSVP even though there were none (SUV). They told us to wait in cold in middle of night with 3 kids, after half hour the agent agreed to give us another class car.
This was a 7 months  ago, received $50 voucher and $25 return to CC

2. A couple weeks ago, returned car at 6am... No body to check in, only agent by the desk... Just looked at CC statement and online... The car wasn't 'checked in' for three days and I got a charge of >$400.
CS is not open now, anyone have experience with this?

Wow. Classic car rental horror story. You should be able to fight it easily, though. Especially, if you could show them you flew back that day.

I had two very good experiences with Budget. In general, I've noticed that, at least, with the national car rental agencies, these types of stories, are branch specific, and are not a result of corporate policy and outlook. Certain branches are more likely to mess up and/or treat customers like garbage.

Just don't understand how they did that. According to customer service, they only checked in the car 10 days after I dropped it off and manually entered an extra three days.

I did mention this today on review and email to CS.
massage me if you want a email add of supervisor that was very helpful to me

Windshield insurance has to be done separate?

Windshield insurance has to be done separate?
I rented with my CSR. not sure if they will cover windshield.
I know with regular car insurance, glass is a separate coverage.

Not by all insurance companies.

My regular car insurance does cover glass, maybe differs from company to company.

Israel.

AFAIK CSR covers windshield, it's only the Israeli car rental providers who like to exclude it so they can make more money.

Thanks,
Should I bother paying $25 to try and fix it before I return
Rather not have the hassle with the insurance

update.
I went to get a qoute from a glass shop nearby and turns out the chip in the window has already been repaired! meaning it was there before I picked up the car (he pointed out the drill mark) so I called budget who said it's not in their records, then I called the location where I picked up the car to try my luck again
I got the agent who gave me the car( I had purchased lunch for her, and got a $150 discount)
And she went through the past few rentals with this car and found the check in sheet which has the chip maroed on it.
I now have it in my email, hopefully it'll be good enough?

Rented a car today for 3 hours in CLE. Drove 13 miles total for the day. Booked through Priceline. Drove the car off the lot with a Full tank and returned with a Full tank. Somehow they clocked me out at 30.9 gallons and returned at 29.9 gallons.
1. How the heck can they know how many gallons are in the tank?
2. How am I supposed to know how many gallons are in it?
3. They charged a minimum Fuel Service Charge of $15.99 and I ended up with a $35+ charge for allegedly bringing it back 1 gallon below full.

I think this is a racket they are running for those people that dont prepay for gas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  >:(

Gonna crosspost to get some more feedback.

Hi has anyone tried lately to use the USAA code for Budget to waive the underage fee in the Brooklyn (Adams St) location or the JFK location without having a USAA card? how was your experience with that?
