Where do people buy kippot for young children online? I want to get a lot of different designs to get my almost 3 year old excited about wearing one, but I'm seeing about $10 each when I look online (which seems high given how many 3 year olds will lose). Any recommendations?

In the local Judaica stores the prices are $6 for plain ones and extra $5+ to have letters and names written on them. Ikippah has a great selection online - for comparable prices.

Kippah.com - I ordered 10 from them (three different styles) earlier in the year at a per piece of 2.99.
You need to pay for shipping but the net price was 3.75 per kippah including the shipping.
