I moved to New York City 25 years ago. I came of age, fell in love, and became a father here. Seeing our City in so much pain breaks my heart.

Are there conspiracy theories that China is trying to take over NYC by having yang as mayor? At least somebody still wants NYC...

There is a good chance he is the best NYC can getI no longer live in NY, and I can't give an authoritative opinion, but I would assume that now would be a time for a more conservative candidate to win. Didn't Giuliani win after because everyone was sick and tired of Dinken's and his policies? There is a big difference now, though, because de Blasio himself won't be on the ticket.

I would imagine NYC voters that haven't left are from the far left.FTFY :P

I would imagine NYC voters moved far left since Guliani. Its mostly since deblasio that the voters moved. Many have moved south, some north, some left, & yes, even far left all the way to CA.
De Blasio is just a buffoon, but isn't Andrew Yang much further left? Asking out of ignorance. When you hear him talking about Basic Income and have dems in control of DC (with angry NYers from the state tax deduction issues) it doesn't sound good.

He's not nearly as left as BDB.
