I no longer live in NY, and I can't give an authoritative opinion, but I would assume that now would be a time for a more conservative candidate to win. Didn't Giuliani win after because everyone was sick and tired of Dinken's and his policies? There is a big difference now, though, because de Blasio himself won't be on the ticket.

I would imagine NYC voters moved far left since Guliani.

Its mostly since deblasio that the voters moved. Many have moved south, some north, some left, & yes, even far left all the way to CA.

When you hear him talking about Basic Income and have dems in control of DC (with angry NYers from the state tax deduction issues) it doesn't sound good.

It doesn't sound good. Though in all fairness he is quite smart and he was willing to talk to Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson. If you listen to those interviews you may support him more. He may be a bit naive but I don't think he would be as bad as deblasio

What happened to Curtis Sliwa? Wasn't he gonna run?
