I'm trying from 3 different browsers, 5 different member logins, and no go.

I succeeded. but it was from Chase.mobile. maybe try thay.

Nope. I learned this many times. Chase's phone reps work on the same server as Chase.com. If the site is down, or has issues, they won't be able to assist you instantly.

Now they have no access to the rewards at all. But after that, it would be a great idea.

IIRC a notice was posted on the Account Summaries page (and has been for at least a week) stating the site may be unavailable from late last night through this morning.

The notice was in regards to mortgages and rewards. and as of this morning no problems should of been in place anymore. The issue was an unexpected one - based on the Chase reps.

I spoke to a CS rep who told me that it affects her job a lot more than it affects me as she cant do anything at work without access to the site. She sounded more annoyed at Chase then I was.
Anyway, she said that they told her it could be another couple of hours before everything is functioning again.

Unexpected things happen. You can plan an outage for site "A" that is supposed to take 6 hours. In reality, you end up bringing down sites "A", "B", and "C" for 10 hours instead. Happens for some internal sites and applications at my company from time to time, although I would expect more from Chase.

Called today and said there was a flight I needed to book yesterday and could not because the site was down. Got 5000 points for the inconvenience.

just called to complain about not having access to my account on monday rep said they went doen bc of a reported security breach from visa and wanted to ensure everything was ok. She also gave me 10k UR points score!

Did you outright ask for the 10k? Or they just generously offered?

i said i couldnt access it for a reservation i wanted to make and she offered 10k all i said is what can u do to make me happier with chase

This is so annoying, every time I call they give me a shpiel about how many courtesy points I got. This last time I called to complain about their site being down, the CSR offered me 2500 points and a permanent note on my account that I'm no longer eligible for courtesy points for website issues. I explained that I don't want to waive my right to points when I have a legitimate issue, and turned down his generous offer.
Granted, I've received a lot of courtesy points (mostly as an attempt to get the equivalent of 100k signup bonus (which I was promised by Chase employees) in courtesy points, worked for ~25k ontop of the standard 50k), but I'm still disappointed. I prefer they didn't offer anything, rather than talk to me like they did.

Wow thats very annoying indeed. would you even bother trying to call again and hope for a more willing agent?
And BTW, are the courtesy points maximums per CARD or per PERSON? if it's per card then maybe try calling the number on back of another chase card

They see them per card, but I'm more annoying about the principle. Especially considering that I averaged just over $10k/month YTD with them.

Gotta say i'm quite surprised about that! I just called and spoke to a (quite rude) senior specialist and after putting me on hold for 5 mins said he'll try to get me 2500 points. So congrats to you!

For those of you calling and complaining about that, do you actually have enough points to book a flight? or did they not check your current point balance and just gave you points anyways

really u can just say u wanted to book with united and were lets say 5k miles short and were gonna transfer UR to cover the 5k shortcoming

I know that website. I was actually able to reach the website, but logging in gave me a message from chase that the site isn't available now.
