After making a 2nd user ID you can add your personal/consumer cc's to the business USER ID profile,  but not the other way around.

I personally rather have them separate so I never tried combining. What I'm posting is from what I've read here.

Some people think they'll fool Chase and Amex with the seperate online profiles.
I have a friend who works in Chase and when She puts in my social ALL the accounts come up.
including the Freedom I settled in 2005!
and the Shell card I lost before it became freedom!
plus all the savings opened and closed for WaMu bonuses
and all other banks Chase bought.
SOME people use biz cards for business....
??? Are you sure?  :-\ :-\
I never met anyone like that?  :-[ :-X ;)

Thats true, but a lot of times when you apply for a card they might need to scroll down or whatever and have to take an extra step to see the card and that could make a huge difference.

I was recently approved for a 30k united business card. My question is: Do I SM for a 50k match as soon as I get the card, or after I spend the $ requirement and I am awarded the 30k? Also, if I dont want an AU, can I get 50k match, or do I need an AU to get matched? Do they also give a $50 statement credit? and what do I have to do to get it. Thanks in advance

no au offer on the business card as far as I know of(and was told right here in this topic just look back one page) from my experience you need to speed the $1k first but you do not need to wait till the points post.

Thank you for contacting Chase regarding the United
MileagePlus® credit card account. Please accept our
apologies for the delay in responding to your message.

Regretfully, the offer referenced in your message sounds
like it was on a personal MileagePlus account not a
MileagePlus Business account. The 5,000 mile authorized
user bonus and $50.00 statement credit
are not available
on business card accounts.
However, we were able to add
20,000 miles to match the 50,000 mile bonus on the
business card account. You will see the adjustment on
your next billing statement.

When I click for biz it says 30K!

Just write that you heard (from a friend...) that there's a non-targeted 50k +$50 offer out there, and kindly ask to be matched.
55k (5k AU)
The 55k offer is only for the personal card, bot the biz.
Any source to match to?
No need.
What if chase asks me for any proof of such offer?
They won't.

Just got approved but I am not too happy and wasn't  the best  approval experience. The rep kept asking me why i need it when i already have the personal, blah blah. Told me he would approve this card by decreasing 5k credit limit from my freedom and shifting 5k from my ink card. Says you are applying for cards too often. I told him i am responsible with my credit but he wouldn't budge so I had to agree to to get approval on this card.
10k cl from my existing chase cards were gone to get approved for 5k cl on the UME business card.

After some back and fourth I got the 55k +$50 on the Business card, here's the exchange I had with Chase

Me: Hi, A friend of mine received 55,000 miles and a $50 statement credit after adding an additional user and making $1000 in purchases for the United business card that I just opened while I only get 30,000 miles .
Can you please match that offer?

Chase rep: Thank you for contacting Chase regarding the United
MileagePlus® credit card account. Please accept our
apologies for the delay in responding to your message.

Regretfully, the offer referenced in your message sounds
like it was on a personal MileagePlus account not a
MileagePlus Business account. The 5,000 mile authorized
user bonus and $50.00 statement credit are not available
on business card accounts. However, we were able to add
20,000 miles to match the 50,000 mile bonus on the
business card account. You will see the adjustment on
your next billing statement.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Linda Lundelius

Me: Thank you for your reply.
It is my understanding that my colleague had received that offer on the United Business card.
So as a loyal Chase customer can you please go ahead and credit me a $50 statement credit, and 55,000 miles now that I've spent $1,000 and added an additional cardholder.

Thank you very much.

Chase: Thank you for re-contacting Chase regarding your Chase
MileagePlus® Explorer business credit card account.

I have issued the $50.00 statement bonus and the
additional 5000 miles, the adjustment will be on your next
billing.

It has been my pleasure in assisting you, if you have any
questions please contact me directly at the number
provided below.

they don't put business cards in personal accounts.
You must create a business profile then SM them to merge your personals into the biz

Dear Moshe XXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Chase about your United
MileagePlus® credit card account.

We understand you applied for an offer that provided
30,000 bonus miles when you submitted your application in
December, 2012.

You let us know that you are interested in an offer that
provides 55,000 bonus miles. That offer awards 25,000
additional miles after you spend $1,000.00 in the first
three months your account is open.

As a reminder, here?s how you can earn 30,000 bonus miles:

You will receive 30,000 bonus miles after you spend $1000
in the first 3 months your account is open. You will see
these bonus miles post to your account six-to-eight weeks
from the date the spending requirement is met.

You can also earn 10,000 bonus miles when you spend
$25,000 or more on your card each calendar year.

We are pleased to inform you that we have honored your
request and issued an additional 25,000 miles. The
adjustment will be reflected on your next billing
statement.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

since the   online rep said  WILL BE FORWARDED TO  A DIFFERENT DEPT, that means the first responders don't deal with these?

During my phone activation of the card, I asked if the rep can match the 55k offer, the rep quickly  said it is for personal cards only and he has no authority to change it but he can forward this request to marketing dept. I told him it is ok, just leave it because I thought the online SM is  the better

So it is  the marketing that can match the 55k offer?

If I want my bonus posted sooner, I have to move  up the statement closing date to like  FEB 28th or something? Any date before the date shown above?

There's no such thing as a "chase bold" personal card. The ink bold is a business card.
With chase, if you apply for 1 consumer + 1 business, it'll be 2 pulls.

Thanks for the information!

Which is considered the better card, ink or bold?

I'm probably going to apply for the United biz card as the first choice, because of the lower spend requirement and then get it matched to 50k.

As i thought...
I ain't no pro, but just to elaborate: IP will give you more available credit thus lowering your utilization ratio, while IB has no CL so the CBs estimate your CL based on your largest reported balance. So unless you do lots of spending one month, and drastically decrease it thereafter, it won't improve your credit score.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dear

Thank you for your message to Chase regarding the United
MileagePlus® reward program for the account ending in

We?re writing in response to your question about the
additional bonus mileage offer on your United MileagePlus®
Explorer Business Card. Due to privacy laws and security
reasons, Chase would never discuss another cardmembers
account.

Please understand the enrollment offer in question is a
targeted consumer United Explorer card with 50,000 bonus
miles after meeting the required spend, 5,000 bonus miles
for an authorized user, and $50.00 statement credit. As
indicated on the offer, this offer is not transferable and
not offered on the Business card account. As previously
advised, we can not honor your request to match the
consumer card offer. If you have documentation to indicate
the offer was extended to you on the Business card
account, feel free to supply a copy for additional review.
Otherwise we consider this matter closed.

In regards to the enrollment bonus you applied for, as a
reminder, here?s how you can earn the bonus miles:
?You will receive 30,000 bonus miles after you spend
$1,000.00 in the first 3 months your account is open. You
will see these bonus miles post to your account
six-to-eight weeks from the date the spending requirement
is met.
?You can also earn 10,000 bonus miles when you spend
$25,000.00 or more on your card each calendar year.

On the 07/01/2013 billing statement we matched the 50,000
bonus offer by adding an additional 20,000 bonus miles.
This is the best offer for the United Explorer Business
Card.

Please keep in mind that all enrollment offers are for
new, first-time United MileagePlus Explorer credit card
members only. This means we reserve the right to withhold
adding any enrollment miles if you have previously
received them on the same product on a previous date.

It has been my pleasure to assist you. If you have any
further questions, please reply using the Secure Message
Center.

They may manually waive the bag fee, but YMMV. Won't happen automatically.

I made a few mistakes lately and my credit score dropped so I knew I wasn't gonna get approved.  I'll fix my score and apply again on or around 3/18.  I'm flying in July so I have time, just wondering at this point.
