He did a great presentation of his product (which is AWSOME BTW).
One thing i would do different is, Since he got the same offer from 2 Sharks, $54K for 40% equity i would ask them BOTH to come in together (they do that ll the time) so that he would reap the benefits of both of them.
He was really looking for the connections and expertise as he mentioned. Robert together with Damond would make a killer team of investors IMO.

I disagree. The deal was too small  and most of them backed out because of the size. They would've laughed in his face for such a dumb offer.

I believe the only reason they were looking to hog 40% even though they liked the product and the maker, was to make it worth their valuable time.

Either way, if I was him, I woulda rejected the offer, as the publicity for his product could launch him easily without their help. And all he loses is the 5% charge from the show makers.

By jews, most pizza shops have sushi on the side.

Since non-kosher pizza shops probably don't sell sushi, the options are either buying permade in grocery stores, or paying a lot in a high class restaurant.
And I've never been in a kosher sushi place that had made to order. They have their menu of different rolls and you order from that. This idea of made to order is pretty original.

they all let you substitute and add etc so essentially it is made to order

With all due respect, you're an idiot. And this is not the first time you've criticized without having anything to say yourself. Quite hypocritical actually.

My point is that he is wrong. Its not that simple at all. That anyone should know.
Also, its impossible to elaborate (correctly) without being a patent lawyer. Patent lawsuits are far from black and white open and shut cases, see the apple-Samsung lawsuit(s) for proof of that.

No use patenting it, if you cannot afford to protect it.

If a big guy wants it, especially with software being hard to implement rights on, I will be run over.

Dunno but thats probably one of the downsides of a licensing deal. As soon as sales are declining, they may decide to drop the product. Whereas if he was running a company selling this product, he could try alternative ways to boost sales

Right so say at this point he's getting 10% of sales. He is guranteed $200,000 for 1 year big whoop. That is hardly easy street... If it was a 10 year deal that's pretty sweet.

Damon's tweet:

My cousin wrote a nice poem:

My baby brother, born just a few years after me.

My baby brother, following me around with his sagging pants.

My baby brother, trying to say "the purple bird burped" because we loved how he couldn't say his "r's" and we loved how cute it came out.

My baby brother, collecting grasshoppers and putting them in his dresser drawers.

My baby brother, the bocher who always made Shlichus an adventure and would connect with people in a way only he could.

My baby brother, who fell in love with my baby daughter.

My baby brother, who made Sossie a personalized video story that kept calling her "Sushi!"

My baby brother, who could do any imitation and used his talents to make puppet shows to make children (and adults) laugh.

My baby brother, who let me wax his chest as practice when I was in Cosmetology school (and screamed like a girl!)

My baby brother, who started a yeshiva for boys who didn't fit in the "box."

My baby brother, an amazing Rabbi and teacher.

My baby brother, who did everything in his power to have children even when it was impossible.

My baby brother, who loved his children more than anything in the whole wide world!

My baby brother, who was such a genius that he patented his own invention.

My baby brother, who became known as the "Shark Tank" guy who convinced Damion to back his dream.

My baby brother, who fought for his life but lost.

My baby brother, who is now resting peacefully with my Tatty.

My baby brother, you left too soon.

My baby brother, my heart is broken and I don't know if it can ever be repaired.

I love you Moshe.

Why is the title "chabad guy"? Why is that term needed?
Who cares it's a chabad guy? What does it change?

That is a real touching poem.
Didm realize Rabbi Moshe was your cousin. Sorry for your loss. BD"E

Just saw this at Kohlís. Immediately thought of him. Itís the same idea. You put your phone in the slot and it amplifies it through the horn.
