Title: BA Companion
Post by: bda on February 28, 2013, 07:10:12 AM
My dad spent 30k on his BA card and now has a companian pass in his BA miles account. Last month he closed his BA credit card (in order to get approved for new cards). Will he have problems redeeming his pass? Does it help that its already in his BA miles account? Should he "uncancel" the BA CC? Thanks for the help.

It shouldn't be a problem. Unless he asked chase to refund the annual fee where in some cases they clawed back the miles.

Best use is for a F ticket (highest mileage value) originating in HKG or GRU (since no YQ if originating there).
