Maybe s/o could help me:
I looked around and could not find exactly when one is allowed to shave tomorrow (before or after chatzos). All i found is that if Lag B'omer falls out on Sunday, then one could shave on Friday.
Anyone?

Chok Yaakov 7, Shulchan Aruch Harav 5, Chayei Adom 131:11, Mishnah Berurah 5, Aruch Hashulchan 6, LíTorah Víhorah 2: page 19:2 quoting the opinion of Harav Moshe Feinstein, ztíl, Rivevos Ephraim 6: page 294:2, Orchos Rabbeinu 2: page 95:11, see Chok Yaakov 7. This is even according to the Sefardim (Bais Dovid 208). Lag Bíomer falls out on Sunday in the following years (5771, 73, 74, 77, 84, 88, 91, 94, 95, 97, 98). Some say to take the haircut on Friday after chatzos if possible, although taking it before chatzos is also permitted (Halichos Shlomo Moadim 2: page 364: footnote 79).

Did some cut n paste. ;).. Basically your allowed b4 chatzos...

A Chassidishe Ma'aseh just to stir the pot  8)
A few American boys once approached Reb Itche Masmid (A Chossid of the Rebbe Rayatz who came to America to collect money/distribute Chassidus), asking him if they can shave during the 9 days Lekovod Shabbos. He looked at them and said "Lekovod Shabbos?! It's Lekovod yourselves! Shabbos doesn't want you to shave!"

I know a couple of people with Chassidish leanings (not Chabad) that wait the whole Sefira.

Are you sure? Because most hold you cant play music even on the night of Lag B'Omer because it needs to be Temimos.
Why should it be different now?

Another GIYF
Q. As Lag baomer is Sunday you can shave on Friday likvod Shabbat, can this be done in the morning?

A. When Lag Baomer occurs on Sunday you are allowed to shave and take a haircut already in the morning of Friday.

Horav M. Feinstein Zt"l (M'asef Letorah Vehoraa 2, p. 19) explains that the reason for the permit is that if you would wait until Sunday, it would appear that the honor given to Lag Baomer supersedes kvod Shabbos.

Although some Poiskim permit a haircut already on Thursday night (Rivevos Ephraim O.H. 1, 338 quoting Rav Binyomin Silver), Horav Shlomo miller's Shlit"a opinion is that it is only permitted in cases of great need.

Rabbi A. Bartfeld as advised by Horav Shlomo Miller Shlit"a

True. I was about to correct your OP. Sefardim shave 34th in the morning so the kavod shabbos svara wouldn't apply.

And now a Chassidish maase:

The Satmar Rebbe treated Mike Tress with a great deal of Kovod.

One of his chassidim was surprised at this and asked the Rebbe how he could do this? After all Mike was clean shaven (and probably didn't go to the mikva either)!

The rebbe replied, ďIn the World to Come when Mike Tress gets there they will ask him, ďYid, Yid where is your beard? When you get there, they will ask beard, beard, where is your Yid?!Ē

depends which shaver. for my old shaver, http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-7810XL-Cutting-System/dp/B001AJD0UM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407360392&sr=8-2&keywords=Philips+Norelco+7810Xl (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-7810XL-Cutting-System/dp/B001AJD0UM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407360392&sr=8-2&keywords=Philips+Norelco+7810Xl)
shaving cream was terrible, very annoying and and took an extra 5 min. maybe because it wasn't a wet/dry shaver, and def. because i took out the lifts.
for the norelco 1250CC / 8700, shaving cream is excellent. after my 1st wet shave I don't want to shave dry again, and i suppose the same thing goes for the brauns foil because they don't need much traction

Except the gemara explicitly discusses cutting your beard with scissors and it clearly does not fall under the rhubric of lo silbash.

FTR, I do have a beard. I just don't get when people turn a singular belief that they have into the be all and end all when in the scheme of things it's not that critical. Like somehow shaving is equivalent to undergoing a sex change. Or chalav stam is the equivalent of not keeping shabbos (it's at worst an issur derabanan (yes I understand there is a chashash tarfus, but if not for the issur derabanan we wouldn't be choshesh))

Yes, shaving is on the same spectrum as gender reassignment surgery. It's chopping of your man-parts. Drinking cholov akum/stam, however, is not comparable to chilul shabbos. I think where you are losing me is that you think I am stam just comparing a small issur to a big issur just for shock value. I am not.

Shabbos doesn't want you to shave!"
and now a litvishe maayseh to stir the pot the other way. The chazon ish once told a bochur that it's more Kovod Shabbos to shave Sunday!*

* consistent with the Chazon Ish's opinion that Shaving is assur.

The Tzemach Tzedek (שו"ת צמח צדק סי' צ"ג סק"ח) famously held that shaving is Lo Yilbash. And the Chafetz Chaim (ספר מצות הקצר ל"ת קע"ז) brings beshem the Chinuch that the Chinuch held like that as well.
If anyone can find that Chinuch it would be greatly appreciated. I searched and searched, and can't find it.
No such thing as "Lo yilbash".  ;)

No, Sephardim should keep their halachos.
I was obviously referring to a certain Ashkenazic element that shaves in Sfira and 3 weeks, although it's not permitted.

Maybe keep it until Shavuos and then re-evaluate.

Once a Lag B'Omer celebration was being held in Jerusalem. Several yeshivah students from overseas joined the gathering. They had grown beards during the Counting of the Omer, but had removed them on Lag B'Omer. The Gaon, Rabbi Yeshaya Osher Zelig Margolis of Jerusalem, told them: "Throughout the days of the Omer, you restrained yourselves from removing your beards. Today, on the day of Rabbi Shimon's celebration, you too are joining in the rejoicing. But how are you are marking his holy day? By trampling on his words. This recalls the words of the Megilah: 'Would you assault the queen while I'm at home?!'" My words bore fruit and the students resolved never to touch their beards.

Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai taught (Zohar, Vol. III, p. 130b): "Woe to those who extend their hands against the precious, sublime beard."

The Chafetz Chayim writes: "Removing one's beard (even with scissors) brings about destruction and blemishes [in the spiritual worlds] Above and removes the image of G-d [Tzelem Elokim] from one's face. By doing so, one uproots the channels of holiness from Above... as explained in the holy Zohar and the works of the Kabbalists.... Accordingly, any person with a sensitive heart should be in dread of this severe and bitter sin. If he transgressed, he should hurry to repent and should not pay attention to his foolish friends whose evil inclinations have overpowered their minds" (The Chofetz Chaim in his Kuntres Tiferes Adam, Introduction, sec. 1; ch. 10).

Nothing, but even if you hold its mutar to shave, its a chumra nit to shave. So Reb Dan is suggesting that people take on this chumra.
Itís no different then if one holds Shabbos ends 50 min after shkia and decide to wait till 72. Nice thing to do but nothing wrong if you donít

The day is associated with the "end" of the practical ramifications of sefira (for those that hold so). Shaving is a result.

Similar to the end of the 3 weeks, I always found it funny how in camp there was a count down to chatzos on 10 Av and then boom, the music is blasting as if at that moment everything never happened and all is jolly again.

IIRC the Tzemach Tzedek holds it's lo yilbash, which would only apply to shaving, not to trimming.
the Tzemach Tzedek holds it is assur to cut trim or otherwise remove any hair from your face

כעיו תער. To be fair the original statement was
I don't think anyone holds it is assur according to Halacha to shave with a trimmer.
the answer appears to be correct
the צמח צדק holds that it is אסור דאורייתא
I changed the question to
trimming a beard?
Then the answer appears to be wrong based on the posted source

I was referring to the Isur DeOraysa statement. I believe that's only with shaving. I don't see how trimming down a beard (and leaving short hairs) can be Lo Yilbash. But I haven't read the Teshuva in a long time.
