What exactly is the question? Are you planning on smuggling in your legal medication?

I'm not sure what medication your talking about, so for the sake of this coverstion we'll assume your bringing in oxycontin or something similar.
1. If it's a normal amount can't imagine it would be an issue. I would suggest that when bringing it in Do Not Put It In you checked bags, bring it in your carry on.
(I can't imagine they'll want you to leave your necessay medication out of the country.)
2. If it makes you feel better, bring the doctor's perscription with you.

The Ra"n's theory of dina d'malchusah sounds like that we have to listen to the king because he can legally expel us, because the king owns the country (think feudal system). But in Israel, the government cannot legally expel us because they do not own it. Because it belongs to us.

Each country's customs has something they are looking for , either large quantity of merchandise which may include smoke and whiskey , as well as some kind of health issue , for example the Us has something with pumpkin seeds ,
Israel on the other hand has a hugh black market for electronics they won't bother u for medication ..

Just a piece of advice (assuming this is all on the up and up). Let them know that you're carrying your medications with you before they see it. It makes a big difference. I have on occassion taken a tremendous amount of medication with me on transporting a patient to/from Israel and I always let them know first. They check your stuff (TSA is the issue, not ElAl) but I never had a really hard time, just a couple of things that wouldn't have anything to do with what you're doing. When you take the initiative and tell them first, they see you're honest. Again, I found the biggest issue is here in the US with TSA. ElAl is understanding and from Israel back here they're also understanding. Regardless, I always feel that those Israelis in the airport can just glance at you and know if there's any monkey business going on. They are far superiror to the TSA guys.

TSA has nothing to do with customs

In addition to getting put on their "list" - I almost got put on the list for accidentally bringing fruits into the country. I thought my kid ate it but turns out she put it back in my napsack. Darn kids, lol

So when i moved to IL i brought in my imac. I didnt know the first thing and i got caught (obviously) and i had to pay 1320 shekel in taxes and fees. They said that i would get my money back when i leave the country with my computer and i declare it back.... of course 3 yrs later i misplaced the paper that shows i paid. (i have been saving it all this time :(  ) any ideas?

I paid for it on my spg (pre-ddf days). Not only that i disputed it with amex and i lost. when i lost the case amex sent me all the forms showing i paid. amex got it from the israeli customs.
