Even if the iPhone 5S was not coming out in 1-3 weeks, you'd be lucky to get $375.

In 1-3 weeks, you'll be lucky if you get $275.

I disagree strongly. iPhone 4S were selling above 400 for a while after the 5 came out.
If history can teach us anything, its's that iPhones don't lose that much value when the new models come out.

Did you bother checking eBay before "strongly" disagreeing?

TODAY, you can regularly get a 16gb iPhone 5 for $250-325, and in good condition.

If you think the iPhone 5s won't propel a drop of ~$50-75, you're being foolish IMO.

No i didn't check ebay. Just relying on that I sold a cracked screen 4s from sprint about 5 months ago for $300. While the average mint condition 4s was selling for above $400,  6 months after the 5 came out. Since I cant search now, ill just assume youre not looking up mint condition iphone 5's.

5 months ago is an eternity in this context. Not to mention that the iPhone 5s wasn't announced 5 months ago.

You dont make sense. My point is that a used 4s was selling above $400 AFTER the 5 was available for 6 months, and you answer that a used 5 should be $275 BEFORE the 5s launch?!

Your reading comprehension seems to need improvement (http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=2627.msg576167#msg576167).

I didn't say that he'd get $275 BEFORE the iPhone 5s launch.

So again, because you seemed to have missed it (again) the first time:

Even if the iPhone 5S was not coming out in 1-3 weeks, you'd be lucky to get $375.

In 1-3 weeks, you'll be lucky if you get $275.

To further clarify, 1-3 weeks (from now) = after iPhone 5s comes out.

So, how about you stop arguing about metzius. Again, go check eBay.

With this I am done. You just don't seem to get it.

$355 for mint condition 16gb Sprint iPhone 5. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhone-5-16GB-Black-Slate-Sprint-Smartphone-Perfect-MINT-/251326548165?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item3a843ac8c5)

$20 less than my initial $375 guess.

As long as you're admitting that you were also just guessing originally. But that didn't stop you from getting on your high horse and insulting anyone in your way.

You may want to look up the term reading comprehension. I read over a word (not misunderstood) in one post (android thread), thought you were talking about your phone, not the app. You PROVE me wrong by bringing up a different post (not the one I quoted and read wrong), and try to your best to insult.

Grow up.

I'd say yes. Just have to know who you're buying it from.
When you're buying from a place like eBay there are some risks involved but in general most of the time it's fine.

A few months ago my Brother in law purchased a new expensive phone off Craigslist.
All seemed legit, but after a few days the phone stopped working.
The seller reported the phone as stolen and claimed a new one with insurance.
He spent a long time trying to the carrier to unblock the ESN but they said it was the insurance company who blocked it and they cant undo it.

Had a similar issue tell him to huca.  Officially the policy is once the esn is registered to you if someone calls after and claims stolen they can unblock you.
