Title: santanderbank give you $20 a month for ever
Post by: aaroncw on December 31, 2013, 04:05:03 PM
Wanted to pass along this great deal. Basically Santander will give you $10 a month for direct deposits totalling $1,500 and another $10 for 2 bill pays (mortgage/rent+a utility). I am not using this as my main bank but rather I am having my direct deposit split into two amounts. A fixed amount to Santander to cover my bill payments. It's basically a super easy $20 a month, with no expiration as of now. Linky below:

Can somebody explain this please:
"Consumer Report Authorization: I approve and authorize Santander to obtain my consumer report.*If you do not agree to the terms, we will not be able to process your request for a new account online."

I thought it's a soft pull.

It might still be true,
It doesn't have to be a hard pull

I applied on Tuesday for me and the wife. I just checked both experian reports and on my wife it is showing as a SOFT pull, on mine it is not showing up at all.

I send back and forth from Capital 1.
