Too bad BA Assesses YQ on AMM-TLV and I've only seen RJ release J inventory on that route, otherwise an avios hop would be ideal!

I booked ORD-BKK for the week right before Pesach (Get out of Pesach cleaning ;))
And ORD-HKG for May. So not looking forward to a 14+ hour flight in economy. What would upgrades be?

So far 2 of 3 got ticketed. I read that they have a 4hr cancellation policy but according to the DOT is should be 24, so why is this not ok?

Lol.. Well I will prob do some cleaning before I leave anyways..

And I am used to economy, I don't really mind it, but after a 14 hour flight that may chance and I might need to find a different way home. Still won't be bad for $300 for a one way. I will definitely miss that CX F

You are able to cross into israel from the allenby bridge. But going into Jordan from the allenby bridge requires a visa acquired beforehand because Jordan does not give visas at the allenby bridge, unlike by the border crossing by Eilat where you can obtain a visa at the border. Happens to be that there is a thread to post flight deals for this reason but I only remembered that this morning
You're referring to this (http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=32067.msg577555.msg#577555) thread, it's locked and only a mod can post in it.

I don't think its worth the effort to sign up for that thread. Vd''l.

It has to be unlocked, period. Of course there should be some rulles about posting in that thread and whoever will not comply with the rules will be banned. I would say that once you have a price mistake thread and 5 members with a certain amount of posts agree that its indeed a price mistake then it can be posted in that thread.

the issue is: whenever there's a glitch or similar, everyone's immediately booking flights and you don't remember to RTM that thread

Spoke with ONETRAVEL, they want to charge $100 a ticket to cancel. Also called Emirates, cant do anything.
I booked with Amex, is that my only option?

Well you are well past the 24hr cancellation period so they have every right to charge you a cancellation charge. Don't think there is anything Amex can do except you dispute it which you would probably lose.

Get a doctors note that's it's not safe for the wife to fly then. That should get you covered under the Amex travel protection.

Really? Thought that only covers conditions not known when booking.

+1, I think since you booked it when this was already known I don't think it would be covered.

We thought we could still tough it out, but then changed minds  ???

Its so strange, i thought the airline/travel agency would be happy to cancel due to the price mistake.. Guess not.

Call Emirates, tell them that you got an email that the ticket you booked was a price error and the email says that you have to call in and have them cancel the ticket. (of course for no charge)

I wouldn't advise that. Remember that they have his info. How long before there's a knock on the door ?

I was up and missed it, checked TFD at about 130 and there was nothing there then, so it must have been a very quick fare mistake, about an hour max.

I know, right?
I also have tickets to AMM (then AJK's suggestion to TLV) for Lag Ba'omer. Decisions Decisions.

1 ticket I'm for sure keeping is to BOM the first week of November.

Seeing that you got it here now.. Too bad I was at a party when this happened, so hard to not be able to get such cheap tickets! How many people going with you?

Held onto the BKK, hopefully everything works out and we'll get to go for Purim.

Cancelled AMM, it just didn't make sense timing wise.

Not taking my flight in 7 hours  :(

I don't mind the wasted $250 ticket as much as the fact that I'm missing out on 90 degree sunny weather for a week  :'(
