Most of the bugs are fixed or will be fixed soon anyway. And we will just stay with a dumb site that errors out for anything a bit complicated...

As Dan mentioned in his post 2 weeks ago, There is no option for the award calendar to show only direct flights.

Is that something that will hopefully get added as they fix up the site, or can we say goodbye to that feature?

Now both sites are down:

The new united.com is experiencing overwhelming demand.
The new version of our site is currently unavailable, but we'll bring it back as soon as possible. Meanwhile, we'll automatically take you to the standard version of united.com. If this doesn't happen within a few seconds, please click the link below.

And nothing happens when clicking the link (of course  :P )

Its always been there (I think) its just that the calendar will give you all options (1+ stops).

One big plus of the new site: the award and flight search puts the parameters directly into the url, allowing you reload, or to copy the url and paste at any later time, and get immediate results with no search input.

For elite or cardholder increased availability you'd still have to login, but still a timesaver and very helpful for checking back for partner awards.

I think this is new but might be mistaken. Did this exist on the old site?

Ah, that's what he wanted? Didn't understand. Used to be the whole non stop only button didn't work at all, they'd still show you the stopovers. He wants the dots indicating Saver to go away, doubt that would happen, though would be nice.

Trying to upgrade a Y saver ticket to a J saver ticket, by 'changing flights' which I've done a million times before. when I get to the checkout screen I get an error, called last inight and after being on hold for a while they said it's a glitch, and really it's phantom space.
Still having the same issue, Is it worth calling again?
It's for two seats, should I try to do one at a time? I don't want to be left with one in J and one in Y though
