Title: Converting old video tapes digital video
Post by: KidOOO on July 12, 2015, 12:39:00 PM
I have about 10 old big video tapes I want to convert and store on my computer.

Anyone know of the easiest and cheapest way to do this?

Looking on ebay, can't find anything below ~$30.

Yes that seems to be lowest, plus the converter total would be in the $60 or $70 range

you think it would be cheaper to pay a pro to do it? what would they charge per tape? i have about 8

I used a cheap guy once. He charged about $10, did a terrible job. If you have the know-how, probably best to do it yourself, unless you find someone reputable and cheap.
