Buying 2 for $75 + Amex Plat AU for 60 days which = 60 days of Centurion lounge + 60 days of PP access....or potentially 5 years of PP access since they forget to cancel AU's memberships often :)

Post by: philbenjoe on December 17, 2015, 06:29:21 PM
Why would anyone in their right mind sell their credit card??? Unless AU's access to the lounge is not on the actual card rather a separate lounge card.

Who says they don't?

I have old Exec cards from when I downgraded my Exec card to Citi's AA 'Gold' card. Same account number, etc, and even though Citi sent me replacement cards with the Gold design..I still use the old Exec card. I wonder if they would work to get entry into Admirals Club. Technically it's an active card, if they need to swipe it to check its validity...it will go through. ;)

From what I have seen the card is not the most important by AMEX for sure they look to see if active as platinum at that time. AA I had they checked as well some times.

Yeah coz they have like 3 months or 4 months left. This is for 1 full year.
Also AA passes sell for $25 or $30. And its just a one time pass. So this would really pay for itself.

Purchased from @godofchurning an AU card on 5/29, nearly a month ago.  Have yet to receive card.  User claims card was mailed to his residence last Friday (a week ago) and have yet to forward onto me the card.  Messaged me yesterday saying he will mail out the card, but then today claims that he had already mailed out the card on Thursday.  Conflicting much? Losing a month of access already and requested a partial refund but received no response from the user, not very professional.

Update on this, 6/28 and still haven't received card.  I do not recommend dealing from this user for any trade.  His story is all over the place when inquiring about when the card was shipped out.  Claims that the card was mailed to his address originally, and he forwarded onto me via USPS. Nothing came after 8 days.  Then he claims he called Citi to expedite a card via FedEx to me and doubted me that I didn't receive the card.  When I've looked up his identity and had all his contacts in hand, he magically whips out a screenshot of the FedEx tracking to show it was delivered to him 1pm that day but did not bother to mention that at all the whole time.  With his identity in my hand, he was finally willing to refund my payment.  Altogether, I've wasted about 2hr+ back and forth with this seller and attempted to make him pay extra for the time wasted, ridiculous.  Belongs in one of the scam call centers, always denying and changing the story when confronted.
