El Al has begun offering WiFi on some European routes.  My wife had it on a flight to/from Rome a month ago.  Free.

The 737? I think they technically always had that capability.

Yes, but I don't recall if it was the 737-800 or 737-900...

Their wifi is just to stream movies from their "dreamstream" app; not for internet access.
ElAl doesn't offer internet on any of their routes

Please see my post above.  They have started to roll out WiFi with Internet.

Flying now on a 737-900 with Wi-Fi installed.
Speed isn't very bad, I'm even able to connect to work with team viewer

flight coming up JFK-TLV. Any way to check for WiFi?

Was told that its so far being installed on the 737.
Should be installed later on the 787

Was on a 737-800 to FRA a couple of weeks ago.  No wifi and no DreamStream.

Any idea if the elal BOEING 777-200/200ER has video on demand as apposed to just a few vdeos to choose from?

I'm Flying alot from yyz to tlv. They charge $25 for wifi for the flight. They also give an option for a voucher. Anyone selling vouchers, as I will be flying alot on elal.
