Historically, Chase has been nice about letting people keep old products that no longer exist. But who knows in today's climate.

So i was on the phone with a rep and reviewed all information gave answers to all questions she asked to confirm, it took 50 minutes with hold time which is insane then she says it will go for review and will take 7-10 days will get letter in the mail, what do you think about this? Does it mean anything? Do i just wait? Legitimate business 10+ years.

I want to get this. believe above 5/24, with CPC status. Currently have an ink plus open, which can close if necessary.

What is the best way to do this to avoid issues. Go to branch and ask RM to put manual paper app through for 100k offer?

Can we do this for multiple businesses and EIN's simultaneously and get bonuses on each one?

TIA!

Got 100k offer approved last week at lol/24 but through paper app with business relation manger in branch and banking history with Chase. I asked about it when I went in to open a biz checking account with a $500 bonus offer and they were happy to assist. I was not targeted, BRM said that since it was going through her that it would be the 100k bonus.

If you don't want to pay the AF, downgrade it to a cash, no point in closing the card entirely.

Good sign. Means it's still pending. Wait for an approval message, or 7-10 days(denial). Or if you are anxious, or want to 2bm call recon.
Thanks will see what happens, realized that you can use any chase cc number to go to the credit application status just by clicking the # key.
Probably should have applied for another chase card while I was requesting a credit pull already.
(and I hear on the machine that I have 2 credit inq in the past 30days, I got an offer in my email with a pre approval for a credit line increase which said no pull needed just enter your income for an automatic increase, so I said why not, but now I hear that it's like a pull?

You can still apply for another, if you applied today.
It's weird that you got a hard pull for that increase.

There is 60k now with the AF not waived.
Or (I think) BRM is 60k as well, the AF should be waived there. You won't be able to combine inquiries then.

Not over 5/24 so don't know if I would need a BRM, assuming a regular rep would be able to help me? Or its only avlb to the BRM?

This has nothing to do with 5/24, I was saying that I'm unsure if you need a BRM, or even a regular banker can do it.

Need advice:

Applied in the morning for this card, got 30-day decision by mail notice. Called Chase and talked with a lending specialist. Told him that I am the soil proprietor and selling stuff on CL, earning about $1500-2000 per year, and that recently cleared the real estate exam for part-time work. I also told him that I want this card to keep my business expenses separate and am willing to move credit line if it helps. He asked me to fax D/L, SS number, utility bill showing name and address, and after I fax, it will take 5-7 business days for the decision. I am also thinking of sending a copy of my real estate license. Rep gave me reference number to include with fax.

Signed up for Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred mid-March, and already met minimum spend. These are the only 2 new cards I signed up for in last 3-4 years. Oh, and closed my United MP Explorer card 2 weeks ago (was opened in 2012).

What do you all think? Do I have a shot at getting this card?

Quick update: got approved after a call. Didn't tell the rep that previous rep asked me to fax some documents. Basically, this new rep said that my application was WRONGLY denied, and he overruled that to approve me. He also said that I might receive a denial letter in mail before my new card arrives, and I should just ignore that letter.

When can I expect my new card? And is there a way to expedite the card?

Advice please:
Ordered an item from eBay for $800 last week, hasn’t shipped yet, but marked as shipped. But with today’s eBay coupon, I can save $100. But seller is not willing to cancel the order. Purchased with Ink Business card. Is there any benefit that I can use to save $100 or I am out if luck. Can’t return the item as it is a massage chair,  without paying $300 shipping charge.

Anything I can do or just move on at this time.

Thanks.

you always need to put someone responsible to pay for the debt, that is what the SSN is for.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with this...
Applied for Chase Ink unlimted business card based on the fact that I am a sole proprietor as a therapist. They asked me to provide business name and proof of address. I sent them my state liscense which has my address on it and explained the business name is my name. Yet they sent me the same letter again. Provided the documents again, got the same letter again. Anything I should be doing here? I'd rather not spend an hour on the phone, is that my only option? thanks!

I have the Ink Cash and I'd like to get the Ink Preferred for the bonus. I'd also like to get the 20K referral bonus. I'm over 5/24, but my wife is at 2/24 and has an excellent credit rating. We both have legitimate sole proprietorships, but hers is currently small (less than 10K revenue). I'd like to have an Ink Cash available for its 5X categories. Does the following scenario work?

I PC Ink Cash to Ink Preferred (presumably they charge the AF). I refer wife for Ink Preferred, and she applies for both Ink Preferred and Ink Cash. What are the chances she'll get approved for both? If it works, we'll get 150K UR for $8k spend and $190 AF.

How about she applies for both Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited? She gets 100K UR for $6k spend and no AF, plus 0% APR for 12 months.

Also, is there an easy way to determine where she is with 5/24 without calling?

Easier to just do social & sole prop.

Creditkarma.com and click on "average age of account", gives you all the cards and the month it's opened.

About to sign up for some Chase biz cards and had a few questions:

A. Do biz cards fall under 5/24?

B. Can I sign up for 2 Ink Preferred cards at the same time (3bm) for two diff businesses (2 diff EIN's) even if they are both under my SSN?

C. What is the next best Chase biz card to sign up for at the moment other than the ink preferred?

D. Finally, I know signing up for multiple Chase biz cards in one day is only 1 pull, but can I sign up for personal as well or is that Amex that you can mix and match?

TIA

Finally under 5/24 today  :)

Can I receive the sign up bonus for all 3 Ink cards or just 1 for the whole ink family?

If I have the ink cash card already will I be approved for a new one or do I have to close out the old one first?

You can receive the sign up bonus for all but don’t do more than 2 at a time.

You have to close it first.

Any warranty on this card for a damaged bookshelf I built already from staples?
Reached out to staples, they want me to disassemble the bookcase, I put in 60 nails and the whole frame.
I don't have the time to sit there taking it apart and then packing it and then finding a truck to ship it back, they should come pick it up or give me some sort of refund..
Hence looking to see if the cc gives or covers anything for such a scenario? (yes it's not an amex card!)

I'm well over 5/24, but I recently created a legit LLC and opened a Chase biz checking account. I now received 2 targeted mailers, one for Ink Preferred offering 80k for $5k spend and one for Ink Unlimited for $500 cash back after $3k spend, with unique invitation numbers.

Will these get me around 5/24, or am I just wasting my time and credit pull? If they will, is there any risk to apply for both on the same day, or better to spread them out?

Does this card give 3 points per dollar on cell phone bills or is the reference to phone only referring to landline spending? I'm trying to determine if it's worthwhile to forgo the 5 points from the Ink Cash to get the warranty protection on my phones. I have 9 lines on the plan so it's coverage for a lot of phones.

I get 3ppd on cricket wireless.

Just be aware that they wouldn't cover my phone for software damage (random shutdowns). They told me they only cover physical damage to the phone.

What's the strategy to get as many of these as possible?

one with ssn
second is business ein
third is my other business with different ein
fourth with my wife and ssn
fifth with wifes name using ein from my business which she is a partner of? Will this work?

Will all these get the bonuses? Will they accept me for this many?

I've read a bunch on here of many users getting multiples of these cards.

Thanks for reading.

Closing a business card doesn't affect anything, is that correct?
Or will it trigger something being that i opened it a year ago?

What I should have done was open the no annual fee business ink card and get the bonus, and then with this ink preferred downgrade to another no annual fee card.

Technically I can still do that as have 30 days from when annually posts.

No real hurt to closing it aside from loss of a credit line which can be transferred. Which Inks do you have? You can have 2 of the same if you feel a need/want.

So you can apply for a cash or unlimited, and downgrade this to the other, unless you plan on getting both. Remember, unlike Amex, you can hold the card and still get the bonus later when you close it.

Correct, you aren't qualified just by holding the card, it's only by earning the bonus. You can have multiple of the same, but if you aren't opening both, having one of each give you more diversity.

Gotchya , think I'm ganna do that. Good choice!
So that would mean I shut the card and reopen it a day later and I would get the bonus? obviously to play it safe I would wait a week or two for it to show that it's closed in my account.

Now with this Chase account I have only my Sapphire reserve and this Chase ink business which I want to close.
For now I have my reserve but those free inks don't allow me to transfer points between one Chase account to another is that correct?

Yes, closing the card would allow you to reopen it and get a bonus. As far as transferring, you can transfer UR between any card that earns them. If you are at the same address or husband/wife accounts, you will be fine. I transfer from a household members ink unlimited every month.

Has been a while since I transferred without an AF card in my account, hence my Q was based with transferring without an AF card in your account like a CF alone?  Don't remember if there's an option to transfer or was it only that u can't transfer to airlines and the like?

Gotchya. So one AF card in a household would suffice.
Now the only question is can you transfer from that one account to multiple United accounts, I assume not. Even though the accounts are all the same last name and addresses, if I remember correctly the entire name has to match to the account you're transferring to.
At that point I would just use their account to book the Travel I suppose.

That's where it starts to get a bit more specific. You could always just book out of your UA account, especially if they share a last name.

Thanks, I guess I'll call retention department and see what I can get, if not I'll downgrade to the card that earns 1.5 cents per point.
IIRC there were two different ones, I have to see what's the difference and take the one which sounds better.

There's the Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited. Unlimited gives you 1.5 points/$ with no bonus categories, while the Cash gives you 1 point/$ but has a few bonus categories of which 5 point/$ at office supply stores is often most popular.

If I get nowhere with retention, does it make sense to apply for the Unlimited With no AF with a mailer I received, and that way I can just close the card instead of the need to downgrade to this very card?
Hence I'm saving myself the hassle from closing the card and then reopening when I want to get the bonus offer?  What you say, better idea?

How many cards you had over the past 24 months? Under 5?

And no matter what message you get, you can call the retention dept. To hear what they have to say and push it all the way through until you get the answer you want!

Chase gave me an extra month to hit the 50k spend. I tried to get them to waived the 50k spend requirement.
Extra 3 months for second bonus.

As we all adjust to the impacts of COVID-19, we want to make sure you have enough time to earn the new account bonus on your Chase Ink Business Preferred® credit card that you opened on December 16, 2019.
That's why we're extending the time for you to earn your second bonus offer by 3 months — so you now have a total of 9 months from your account opening date to earn your new account bonus.
There's nothing you need to do to activate this extension — it's automatic.

Are there exclusions on the Ink Business Preferred if you've received the bonus offer previously? The application  I looked at does not state any terms. Will they approve a second Ink or do I need to close the old one first?

The application  I looked at does not state any terms nor are there any on the public link.

Will they approve a second Ink or do I need to close the old one first? i don't think so, try PC'ing first
