Is there any real difference (throttling wise) between old grandfathered plan and new one?

I haven't researched it, but did you google to confirm that a transfer-of-liability doesn't cause the grandfathered features to drop off the plan? IIRC that was Sprint's policy for TOL on grandfathered plans.

+1, please post your price.

Sorry about not including price. It would be $1200 per line.

How would you port your number out without cancelling the plan?

$1200 covers everything? No monthly charges?

You would most likely need to take over these numbers - meaning, you will not be able to use your existing number.

$1200 is in addition to the monthly bill which is about $100 per line.

Given that just about every cellular company throttles data after ~20GB/mo I'm not sure who this deal makes sense for, they are doing just about everything they can to get customers to simply convert to the new plans

Doesn't verizon charge $85 for 1 line unlimited?

With the grandfathered unlimited plans, they say they don't throttle until at least 100+ GB

To clarify, this isn't a savings, but paying $1200 on the hope that the throttle threshold is higher?

Or am I missing something?

Even if this is true, they can change that rule tomorrow.

Do you offer any sort of guarantee period?

It makes sense if you are using 50+ GB per month.
