For the above offer not everyone is eligible. If you are not eligible you can register to get a 25% bonus on transfers up to 100,000 points and a 40% bonus on transfers above 100,000 points.

if you did the first 50% 25k eqm promo , plus this one, will the eqms stack and you'll end up with gold status?

It won't work, it's "for first time transfers only". GL

Yes I believe so. As long as the delta account is eligible for the offer it should be fine no matter whose account the amex points are coming from.

This promotion won't show up at Amex's website, as long as you registered your Delta account successfully, you would get the points. Usually immediately. No worry about this.

Just got an email from Delta :
WE WOULD LIKE
TO EXPLAIN
You can still earn up to 40% more miles for
transferring Membership Rewards points.

Hello Y........,

We recently sent you an email regarding a bonus for first-time Membership Rewards transfers. This email was sent in error and we would like to apologize for any confusion.

However, you can still earn up to 40% more miles on Membership RewardsŪ points transfers through June 30, 2011.

Receive a 40% mileage bonus for single transactions of 100,000 points or more and a 25% mileage bonus for single transactions of less than 100,000 points.
Does this mean that if you have already transfered you can still get the 40% bonus but not the 25k medallion?

Clarification:
My understanding is that there are two current promos being run, the 25%/40% which is open to everyone, and the 50%/25K MQMs, which is open only to accounts without previous MR transfers.

Delta sent the email about the "MQM promo" to a number of people who weren't eligible. They then sent out an apology email to people who weren't eligible, and tried to save face/push SMs with the other promo.

IOW, I believe the MQM promo is still good for first time MR-DL (first time into DL account) transfers.

If it lets you register someone reported that it worked even with previous transfers.

With the 50% bonus, would you say a transfer to delta is worth more than to continental 1:1?

Not really, depends on your redemption options.

Delta is good for their cheapest award tier. Their selling value is peanuts, they aren't called SkyPesos for nothing.

When do you become Medallion Silver immediately after the 100K transfer?
My account says 25,000 MQM however membership level it states Skymiles member, it does not say Silver by when should it say silver?

When I did an Amex>Delta transfer and redemption a few months ago I had signed up for some sort of promotion that gave me  a 5k mile rebate for the first redemption on that skymiles account. Anyone know if that's still running now or have a link?

Thanks.

I think it is. Looks like it becomes effective for a year from the date you applied it (or possibly a year from the date you opened the SkyMiles acct.)

Do the extra 50k post right away, the t&c says 6 weeks...any way to expedite?

They post together with the transfer. So if you transfer 100k MR 100k DL + 50k DL bonus land up in your account (and for 100k and up you get 25k MQM = DL silver which posts overnight).
