With redcard and subscription, I seem to get 7.68%. In the past I've gotten 10%, or perhaps it was 9.75% (100%-(95%^2)). Does anyone know why?That's because they started taking off the 5% after first deducting the $5 from the free gift card
Also, if I'm reading it correctly, the offer on Friday is a coupon for 20% off a future visit, first valid 11/28, when you spend $50. It's not 20% off on that order when you spend $50.

So that means that this quarter, I'm better off using Discover and getting 5% on the whole purchase.
That seems "unfair" - you don't get 5% off on the purchase you later make with the gift card for having a redcard. Of course, by calling this "unfair" I just mean that there was an intuitive rationale for doing it the old way - it meant that you ended up getting 5% off on all products you got using the redcard, directly or indirectly, as the means of payment.

The tissues were a set of 4, you needed to order 2 "sets" of them for 1 $5 GC so if you mean your 4 "sets" was 16 boxes total then the GCs would be right, right? This was good to stack on Friday w/ the 20% coupon off future for $50 spend btw.
