Re: Budapest Master Thread
Not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but deciding between Budapest, Vienna & Prague, which place would be the best base for a few days of touring, in terms of Kosher food/hotels, pricing, things to do...
I'd vote for Budapest. I went to all three this summer and I had a great time by all of them, but I'd rank them as far as where I'd want to go back as first Budapest, then Prague then Vienna. Let me know if you have further questions about specifics etc.

ETA: Forget about among those 3 cities. Budapest may very well be the nicest city I've been to and I've been to many cities across 40 countries in the past year and a half. That, along with the fact that a gorgeous 5 star hotel can be had for under $150 a night, and there's great kosher food available, makes me not understand why Budapest is not a more talked about destination over here.

Re: Budapest Master Thread
I went to Budapest 2 weeks ago, what in the Gehenim did you see there that fascinated you?
Did you check out the view across the river of Pest from the hills of Buda at night? May very well be the most beautiful/magnificent nighttime view I've seen.

Re: Charter JFK-TLV for Sukkos $999
What's the best program to credit miles from this flight to?
I'd credit to Virgin Galactic because I'm trying to save up to go to the moon.

Does higher numbers count? 665 CLP = 1 USD.
Once you're going there, 1 USD = 13,075 IDR. I took out 1 million at the ATM when I was there. Never felt like a bigger legend :P

Re: Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Going up from a category 9 to a category 10 on Oct. 12th.

This doesn't mean there has to be any chance in award price as the prices for categories 9 and 10 overlap, but considering that the Waldorf was always pegged at the high season 80k a night rate, I will assume they will now peg it at the high season 95k a night rate 365 days a year as well. You can book by Oct. 12th for a later date at the lower rates.
