Do that many families in your school travel to Europe that they sent this out?!

This winter they may be sending out a Kashrus Alert for the Maldives

Re: AJK's Trip/Route Planning Thread

I would kill myself, if I would go November have bad weather and knew I gave up perfect weather for a nicer seat

Not something worth killing yourself over IMHO. But if you decide to off yourself, make sure its at the St. Regis so at least you'll have a minyan at the Levaya

Re: Mauritius or Seychelles
I am planning on a trip to Seychelles on the 11th of December. Wondering if it's worth it as well to fly to Mauritius, particularly Rodrigues Island.

If you have the time... But SEZ is def nicer

Re: A quick getaway to the "Red City". A cliff notes TR of Marrakech. I'm in Marrakech now reading your TR.

88K EY for ET J from NYC is a great deal and things here cost next to nothing so it makes for a great inexpensive winter trip.

Marrakech is a fantastic fusion of Jewish history and Maghreb culture. December is very low tourist season but its still 65-70 out and you feel like you are the only tourist in town

I'll add more to the Morocco thread once I finish here

Re: Pesach Hotel Experiences
anyone been to the Leonardo plaza for Pesach (or maybe succos/shabbos i guess) and knows what kind of drinks they serve? meals are crazy expensive, wanted to know that they provide free mineral water/something above tap at meals?
Also, is there any sort of formal or informal dress code? I eat with my kids, and prefer to dress down for shabbos meals so i dont get angry at them for dirtying my suit, again.

IIRC they include mineral water but not soda but that was some time ago (was a reg. shabbos, not Pesach)

and with regards to dress codes in Israel....They dont exist

Re: Pesach Program in Greece Cancelled Just Now! One thing you will notice is that the best Pesach programs (KMR etc) don't have to hire PR firms etc and fill up quick on word of mouth etc, sometimes weeks before they even announce which hotel they are going to..
