Re: credit repair As a business ?? Actually, I think it's a very lucrative opportunity, and have been toying with the idea myself. Perhaps more of a credit consultant than credit repair, but a little bit of both. There are MANY things I know about credit building/repair and general FICO score information that the average person on the street simply does not. On this forum, perhaps, but on the street? To use the random statistic made up on this thread, 9/10 frum people know absolutely nothing about credit. This forum is the exception, not the rule. Even many churners I know don't fully understand the finer points of credit, they just know what they need to get by, and lots about individual credit card bonuses! TBH, most of what I know comes from Dan's posts and this forum (over years of reading, and about a year of being an active participant myself). There is alot of knowledge out there! But many people don't have the time, knowledge, or savvy to go about this themselves, and would prefer to pay a fee to have a professional deal with it. As long as you're completely honest and trustworthy, and build a good name for yourself via word of mouth, you should be totally fine. So to answer the question that began this thread (best first post EVER, by the way), as your potential competition: Go for it. There's a lot of room for this, it's a great way to make money and simultaneously help many people who really need it!

Re: Received Debt Settlement Letter should I accept? You can often negotiate certain things, such as the way they report to the credit bureaus. Most things are negotiable. Still, very important- make sure you get from them in writing that all outstanding debt is now considered paid in full and is no longer collectible by them or any other entity, ever. Otherwise, they can still make a claim against you for the remainder after they receive your partial payment..

Thanks to the DDFs that offered to print and especially the one that printed!
Library is .20. However, I just bought the printer from Walmart on DDMS, so feel free to DM me for future printing needs :)

Update- You can now email a print job to the library and they'll have it ready for you for the next 24 hours.
Email to ocl-lakewood-color@printspots.com. $0.20 per printed page, plus (technically unlimited) free copies at the library as well... I highly doubt you'll find a more worthwhile option.

Re: Lakewood NJ Master Thread
I checked like 5 in the area and they were all out of order. Does not make sense that they are all broken from overuse
Happens occasionally, not sure why

Re: What are my rights?
Perhaps you can point out where I mentioned United in this thread that is clearly about an AA flight, because I'm confused by your complete non sequitur comment? Is this a Trumpian projection thing where the guy with no reading comprehension proactively accuses random people of not having any reading comprehension?

While you're at it, you can point out why it's bad advice to carry on something if you really need it and only check if you have to? Seriously, one wonders if the denziens of this board actually travel at all or just sit around pontificating about it.
Denizens. Good word.   ;)
