Any recommendations where I can rent a moped/tustus for a week?have a class M DL.

Electric bike won't work since I'll be traveling 20+ min away by car.
Also will hotel charge for parking?
Iíve heard Moped parking does cost, but cheaper than a car

Re: All credit union loans and other products are forbidden- kol koreh
I have loans out from Alliant Credit Union for me and DW, (the build your credit shtick that doesnít work anymore). We also have deposits there as part of that trick.

I just contacted my Rav about this, will update.
I spoke to R' Ari Marbuger in Lakewood about this, he's somewhat of an expert in Ribbis shaylos.

He told me that there are many poskim that feel it's more serious than a bank, and requires a heter iska, R' Dovid and R' Reuven Feinstein among them. R' Shlomo Miller, who signed the kol koreh, seems to have written a letter backtracking his psak, and there are many rabbanim that feel it's similar to a bank in regards to heter iska. He said if my loan is large and it's a big hefsed to refinance, I can be somech on those who say it's the same as a bank. However, because I only have the loan to build credit, and it wouldn't cost me alot of money to refinance and pull out our deposits, I will probably be doing so shortly, despite my credit taking a hit.

Are CC's from CU's a problem the same way a regular loan would be?
Why not? Itís still a loan, albeit unsecured

You can be oiver ribbis ketzutzah by agreeing to a loan and borrowing the money, even if there isnít one cent of interest actually charged in the end (like a credit card thatís paid off monthly)

Re: All credit union loans and other products are forbidden- kol koreh
Obviously.

My question is whether a CU that's not popular in the Jewish communities, could be assumed to have an overwhelming majority of non-Jewish members, and might therefore possibly not be problematic?
It seems according to those who hold itís not like a bank, the reason would be because of the structure of the union, not percentages per se.

I donít think a publicly held bank is an issue according to most poskim, even if the majority of shareholders are Jewish. See Aamtrust.
